Please keep in mind that the new plans aren’t initially available in all states because insurance filing happens at the state level and the length of time for approval typically varies. When deciding to launch new products like these, we consult with filing experts and weigh several factors, including our goal to provide the best products for you and your customers, as well as the number of states that have approved the product filing. In this instance, our filing experts advised that there was little value in delaying the product launch. States that have approved the filing are also expecting launch for its residents within a reasonable amount of time, so this was another deciding factor.
